IS MY DONATION TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, TLEF is a tax-exempt foundation under subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967, and all donations to TLEF are tax-deductible (applicable only to donations made by Malaysian taxpayers).
IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF DONATION REQUIRED FOR ME TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR TAXDEDUCTION?
You may give any amount. The total amount deductible in any Year of Assessment is limited to 10% of the aggregate income of the individual/corporate donor pursuant to subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967.

Donors must provide the following information to obtain an official tax-deductible receipt from the organisation.
• Donor’s full name as per NRIC / passport
• NRIC number / passport number
• SSM registrationn number (for corporate donors)
• Complete mailing address of current residence
A physicial receipt will be given to donors in person or mailed to the address provided within 7 business days of the donation.
